From 2009 to 2025, Dr. Klaus Mueller served on the U.S. State Department Delegation to the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA), an intergovernmental organization dedicated to advancing Holocaust education, research, and remembrance worldwide. He contributed to a wide range of IHRA initiatives, including the 2024 publication ‘IHRA Reflections on Holocaust Comparison‘, and chaired the IHRA Committee on Holocaust, Genocide, and Crimes against Humanity in 2018.
